the bends by Argocat8 the bends by Argocat8
Christchurch Art Gallery
This is a view of a curvy overbridge in the foyer.
One of the staff members wanted to make sure I wasn't photographing the art works *rolling eyes*
yeah that's why my nose is almost pressed up against the railing duh
hehe

*Presses nose against computer screen* Ooooooh... so pretty! *caresses screen* Don't change a thing! The muted blue gives the work a cold feeling, which compliments the steel railing wonderfully! The sharpness in the foreground is incredible. The lines reflected in the glass add nicely to the ambiance of the piece. :w00t: Great work, yo! :+fav:

Oh wow. It took my a moment to realize this was a photograph and not a 3D render. This is an extroardinary piece of photography. Beautiful, astounding work. =)

Very nice
The coloring almost makes parts of it look like a 3d render
I really like the framing of the wavy bar

It may be dark, but the darkness of it is awesome. It gives it this certain feel. Good job.

Whoa, this is great, and the smoothness and colours made me almost believe it was done in a 3D renderer -- well, at least, that's what first came to mind when I looked at the preview! :)

the curved shape of the rails is really interesting, it leads so nicely into the depth
the photo has a quite abstract look, which I find good, since it is not easy to achieve this with photography. and the colour toning adds to this
I wonder if it would have been more interesting if the focus was more on the midground, but on the other side that sharp glass looks great.
in any case, a really nice photo and well deserved DD =)
