PiscesContained a la Davenit by Argocat8 PiscesContained a la Davenit by Argocat8
For the dA Doppelganger Contest

I've always admired Dave Nitsche's clean style. There is a clinical aspect to his still life works, but a touch of the silly and random

Well, here's my ode to Dave's style

Enjoy :)

Shot in RAW and manipulated in PSCS (I don't have the studio or the lighting!)

I've always wondered how people manage to get a plain white background. Care to help me out? :)

first thing is trying to get the background as white as possible. In this case it's white photocopy paper. Then you have to get a really bright light shining at your subject, adjusting the position with as few shadows as possible (in this case, almost directly above). Then use Photoshop to clone out the bits! :)

Time consuming, but fun!
